I am a 17 year old amateur photographer, nature and science enthusiast based in Perth with a strong interest in South-west Western Australia’s orchids and carnivorous plants (although the carnivorous plant interest extends to other countries to some extent). I have a Cirt II & III in horticulture from Kings Park and I will be commencing botany at UWA in February. I am the creator of the “Carnivorous Plants of Western Australia” and the “Native Hybrid Orchids of Western Australia” projects.
For anyone interested the majority of my photos are taken with a Canon EOS 60D + Sigma 105mm EX DG Macro or Sigma 150mm EX DG OS HSM Macro, my ultra macro slime mold images are taken with the addition of a reversed 50mm lens screwed onto the front of the sigma 105.

Currently also trying to learn more about Myxomycetes.
