Hiya! I’m a wildlife educator at an AZA zoo and a biology and communications grad. I help teach the public about our natural world, and absolutely love inspiring youths and adults alike to be interested and passionate about nature and the great outdoors. I also am lucky to be able to work with some amazing animals! On the side I’m also a freelance illustrator, and I have big interests in history, culture, and languages! :-)

I mainly focus on birds and mammals of New England, US and surrounding areas. That being said, I love all organisms and try to learn what I can from each and every one of them. Of course, sometimes I make mistakes, so please don’t hesitate to correct and teach me!

I am trying to improve my wildlife photography skills. That isn’t to say that all my photos are taken with my camera -there’s a lot of cryptid-level quality photos in my observations, but some decent ones sprinkled in there too!

Species I have worked with:
• Striped skunk (Mephitis mephitis)
• Virginia opossum (Didelphis virginiana)
• Nine-banded armadillo (Dasypus mexicanus)
• Red fox (Vulpes vulpes)
• Fennec fox (Vulpes zerda)
• Lesser hedgehog tenrec (Echinops telfairi)
• Eastern screech owl (Megascops asio)
• Barred owl (Strix varia)
• Pigeon (Columba livia domestica)
• Green aracari (Pteroglossus viridis)
• Turkey vulture (Cathartes aura)
• Giant African millipede (Archispirostreptus gigas)
• Madagascar hissing cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa)
• Argentinian black and white tegu (Salvator merianae)
• Prehensile-tailed skink (Corucia zebrata)
• Russian tortoise (Testudo horsfieldii)
• Pancake tortoise (Malacochersus tornieri)
• Eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina)
