I’m a primary and secondary substitute teacher, grad student of literature and digital humanities, writer, and naturalist. Also a Northern (true northern/far northern) California native and UC Davis and Oxford alumna. I’m from a region that has a vast amount of ecologic diversity but sees comparatively little research and science interest due to ‘brain drain’ and being low-priority for funding. I’m hoping Citizen Science can help change that.
