I’m a botanist living in Yakima, Washington.
I teach at the community college here in town and enjoy exploring the Cascade Mountains and foothills during the summer.
My recent home projects are also plant related - I’ve started growing bonsai trees from plants native to Washington state. I’ve also started converting parts of my yard to native landscaping. I’m particularly pleased with the success with growing balsamroots and desert-parsleys.
