I am a retired somewhat health challenged engineer who is very concerned about climate change and biodiversity. After retiring I took several courses in Environmental Studies at our local community college. I would like to get more involved in environmental issues but have to limit myself to cataloging plants and critters in my local community and making my yards pollinator friendly. I am trying to get more proficient at identifying birds and insects (I was actually the Arkansas 4-H Club State Entomology champion back in 1965).
