I am a community development worker and literacy program coordinator in Lucknow, India, with degrees in biophysics and education. In my spare time I focus on herpetological surveying and education-driven conservation. Though I do not have formal education in taxonomy or ecology I am the son of a zookeeper and a park ranger and have been steeped in college zoology textbooks and practical experience since I was in elementary school. I am fortunate enough to have now published several papers and notes in herpetological journals. My primary conservation work is with the Creative Conservation Alliance, Lilok Farm, North American Field Herping Association, Wild Columbia and Bangkok Herps.
