I’m a software engineer with over 30 years of professional experience.

Recently I’ve been spending more time learning about plants and biodiversity. While I’m a beginner in plant identification, I’ve had a lifelong appreciation for nature thanks to growing up in the countryside and seeing my father cultivate bonsai and many other plants for over 50 years.

I joined this community to expand my knowledge of plant species, improve my observation and identification skills, and learn from the expertise and different viewpoints of other members. I appreciate any advice and look forward to contributing where I can.
