lycophidion
Biologist specializing in phylogenetics, ecological phylogenetics, metagenomics, population genetics and biodiversity studies. Favored taxa are squamates, microbes and (now) avians. I have long explored the intersection of biological diversity and environmental justice. I had somewhat lost my youthful naturalist inclinations and became a lab-rat until the pandemic, which led me back into hiking, observing, and - especially - photographing. I also had some mentees in ESA’s SEEDs program to thank for bringing me to iNat.
