lynkos

British by birth, I moved to Italy some thirty or so years ago where I still live today in the wild heart of Abruzzo. Nature in all its numerous aspects has always been the great passion of my life, with a particular love for plants (inherited from my botanist father) and arthropods. Intolerant of walls that confine and unable to remain still for long, my only fear is that one day I’ll shoulder my backpack, set out and be unable to stop walking, while there are still tracks, trails and paths disappearing over the horizon, with an undying curiosity to see what life has in store for me beyond the next curve.

Disclosure: all (well, 99.8%) of my images are taken with OM System camera gear. They may be cropped, denoised, focus stacked and processed using a suitable combination of Lightroom, Photoshop, DxO PureRaw and Helicon Focus, with the sole aim of rendering them as close as possible to the original scene with as much detail visible as possible. Please also be aware that I have NEVER captured, killed, anaesthetised, immobilised or deliberately injured or damaged in any way any form of organism just to take an image for my own enjoyment or to satisfy my own curiosity. And I never will. Oh yes and of course… live long and prosper ;-).
