I am a botanist located in Boston, Massachusetts.
I have lived and worked across the United States, including beautiful cities like Tucson, Charlottesville, Tampa, and Boston.
I am most familiar with the flora of the East Coast of the United States, in particular the native plants of Massachusetts, Virginia, and Central Florida. I am also formally trained in the plant systematics of native Virginia species. I recently became acquainted with Florida natives during my time in Tampa, Florida while obtaining my Masters of Science in Biology at the University of South Florida. As a result, I enjoy identifying the costal species found around Tampa Bay. Lastly, since my move to Boston to pursue a career at Boston University, I have worked to expand my knowledge of the native species of the New England area, and in particular the native species of Massachusetts.
