I was a professional botanist but that didn’t pay enough so now I’m an amateur botanist.

I love all plants. I love New Zealand’s wonderful and unique native flora, I love fruit trees and herbs in my garden, I love my house plants and weird succulents and I even have a grudging respect for our most invasive species. I also love Australian plants and hope to one day see every species of eucalypt, in the wild.
