I am the president and webmaster of the Stewards of Alberta’s Protected Areas (SAPAA). 60% of Alberta is Crown (public). SAPAA is interested in a subset of these lands which are often small but mighty. They provide reservoirs and land bridges for plants and critters. SAPAA’s interest is to go out, evaluate their condition, including gathering biophysical information. This is where iNaturalist comes in. A great open source and collaborative tool!
