Um, well, I am not an expert at anything, at least not anything related to nature. I love being outside. I love being in remote places far from roads and trails and coffee shops. My most remote place was 6 days hard travel from the nearest coffee shop. I tend to do these things by myself. Not because I am a loner, but it happens that when I take people with me they often get hurt and it is not unusual for them to cry. I guess not everyone responds to hearing a wolf howl in the night with comfort knowing that they would give me a heads up if a grizzly were headed my way. I guess it sums up like this. I am a scout in the tradition of tribes. By the way, I would give up all the comforts of modern times to live back when all humans lived in nomadic tribes. When we were free.
