I’m an artist/illustrator for HarperCollins and other publishers and am also a life-long enthusiastic amateur naturalist. I joined Gloucestershire Moths Group a few years ago after starting a major BioBlitz project on my wooded 2 acre garden which continually inspires and astounds me at the sheer variety of biodiversity. So far I have recorded over 350 moths here including several scarce and even nationally rare micro moths, 25 species of bee so far, 40 species of bird and over 200 species of native flora. My garden BioBlitz has also awakened a passion in me to get other people to turn their outside spaces and gardens into oases for wildlife to give nature a much needed helping hand. Having seen a common lizard and female stag beetle here, my biggest aim to is to get a photograph of them to add to my BioBlitz photographic record! :D
