I’ve spent MONTHS writing about on my substack, and writing to my reps BEGGING them not to bring more data center power plants to Pennsylvania. There’s one burning coal waste and now BURNING TIRES. Everywhere these AI data centers set up there’s air pollution, noise pollution, light pollution, and people’s water bills go up.
There are 2 good books on this that just came out one is by Emily Bender and Alex Hanna and the other is by Karen Hao.
AI IS NOT INEVITABLE.
