We have PTSD, among other diagnoses, and we are sensitive. Where communicating with us, please try to use compassion and be gentle. We will try to do the same in communication with you.

We do not appreciate binary thinking: good/bad, right/wrong, us/them. We question what binaries open up and what they close down (render invisible). To us and for us, life and our experiences are usually complex; multiple things can be true at once, even seemingly contradictory things. Binaries can help reduce confusion, simplify. They also can label, limit, reduce, react. We often opt for complexity.
