No so much to explain, this happened to me yesterday, and now at 17:45 hrs (Chilean hour), is happening again, with several observations.
No a problem to me, but it could be annoying to new users.

Yeah, it works for me too.
This has shown up several times for me as well but goes back to normal when I refresh after a few minutes
same with me, after some refresh the page back to normal.
now it’s working ok for me, im not sure what happened
Weird. I was having problems signing in to the forum earlier today, at about the same time. The log-in screen just would not take my iNat user info (and was trying to force me to create a new account)—right up until it worked. Maybe they were related glitches?
