I use left hand, and i think there are many more who use left hand in the forum here, and i think most iNatters dont use the forum or may not even know about it, and there are much more people out there among them who use the left hand.
(we are many)

I voted that I can only use my right hand, but then I noticed that you bolded can use your left hand. Not do use your left hand. I said to myself, Can I write legibly with my left hand, as Diana said?” I got a piece of paper and tested it. I could!

I went back to change my vote, but . . .

It happens to the best of us! I’m grateful for your frequent and helpful contributions on the iNat Forum (and on iNat itself!). We’re lucky to have you in the community!

Now now. That’s obviously phishing for personal information.

There seems to be some confusion here. In all my comments above I was speaking of using the camera APP in your phone; no, not some fancy equipment nor posting only “fantastic” “professional”, “pro photo studio” pictures, just a different UI to take field pictures quicker.… click, click, click … as you chase the butterfly, dragon fly, or bee or try to get one or more reasonable pictures before it flits away again. Pick ones for your observation which actually look reasonable. Yes, you can even tweak them in your phone - cropping is useful when you aren’t zoomed in, when you are NOT completely zoomed in because you are worried that you’ll miss the target. No not fancy editing.

”often things have to go quickly, often there is no chance for a “best” picture. If you are in the field and you picture a dragonfly in the air, there is mostly no second try that is not staged.”

Is it not true that in the INat app has a whole navigation to go through to select adding photos, using the camera, confirming an image is good enough then repeat the whole sequence? Just as you mentioned with your complaint of the OK button. The extra clicks hardly is conducive of getting a bunch of photos, before the observation leaves.

USE YOUR CAMERA _APP_ how ever one-handed you are able to snap photos when you are chasing a target. Your camera app IS a field tool and in some situations like when needing to be quick is the better tool.
