Is there no movement on this.
One can easily see the parents of any place: e.g.
https://www.inaturalist.org/places/cape-flora-southwestern-bioregion
Places > Africa (Continent) > Southern Africa (Region) > South Africa (Country) > Cape Floristic Region (Region) >
But, I would like to see all the children of “cape-floristic-region”
Surely it should be a trivial bit of code, but does not seem to be catered for in any of the APIs.
I realized this in 2018 when I created these places, so they are coded:
https://www.inaturalist.org/search?q=cape+flora&source[]=places
But I am curious as to what other places might have been added as childs to Cape Floristic Region.
This really hits home when someone accidentally flags a species as “introduced” and this needs to be fixed, and one has to trawl around for all the children places that have had the status changed to “introduced” - not easy when there are more than the 100 that display in the Status tab on the Species Page.
