Wow! I’m amazed–your photos are amazingly good, despite all the branches obscuring the bird! I usually get about 25 branch photos for one bird photo XD

I was out birding to see a large flock of Red-winged blackbirds. I was enjoying listening to them, when overhead this hawk sp. Cooper’s/Sharp-shinned flew over. I was hanging out with one of the ospreys in my area when I noticed it was panting I had no idea they did that which was super cool to see! It’s like 90*F here in Texas right now so the birds have to cool down somehow! (Here’s the Osprey!) [DSC_3344] [DSC_3401-Enhanced-NR]

I set my autofocus to just be one point, and put the point on the bird’s eye. It works every time.
