Indigo bunting that flew into my windows, thankfully my dog was barking so I noticed him. Fortunately he flew off within 20 minutes of him getting hit. Indigo buntings have been one of the birds I’ve most been wanting to see since I started birding, this wasn’t the way I imagined my first time seeing them lol.
You might want to try some WindowAlert or similar brand reflective stickers for your windows. I put them on mine (you have to replace them a couple of times a year) and it cut down on collisions drastically.
In the past 6 or so years I’ve lived in my current home, we’ve only ever gotten cedar waxwing hits during February and March (we used window markers to prevent crashes this year), so this was a pretty strange circumstance. I’m not even 100% sure he hit the windows as he wasn’t sitting under one. Thanks for the advice though!
Sometimes they panic when attacked by a hawk or something and will fly blindly into a window… markers or not!
Yes, in addition to the early migrants who have been around for awhile like Red-wing blackbirds, Common grackles, American robins, Eastern phoebes, and song sparrows (some who don’t truly leave the area) I am seeing some others like: Louisiana waterthrush, ruby-crowned kinglet, yellow-bellied sapsuckers, killdeer etc and I heard a Yellow-rumped warbler and chipping sparrow.

A Painted Stork in flight! It looks very bald, but I just love the wingspan.
A friend of mine and I went walking this morning on a local nature trail. We both enjoy casual birding, but we were just meeting to chat and catch up. After we got done walking, we sat down on a bench and then the this bluebird pair started bringing food to their nest just a few feet directly behind us. She took these pictures because her cell phone camera is much better than mine. When we walked into the Nature center, the staff was all smiles, thrilled we got to witness this.
Incidentally, the same friend stopped by my house a few hours later so I could show her something and we saw a pair or red-tailed hawks and a bald eagle from my front yard in the 5ish minutes we were out there. Sadly she didn’t take any pictures, but I got a few of one of the hawks that flew almost right overhead. It was a good day.

Found this female slaty-tailed trogon staring at me from just three meters away on my morning walk. So close I could barely get it all in the full photo. Depending on what iNat does to compress the photo, you might be able to see me standing on a dirt road taking its photo in the reflection of its eye.
