This actually sounds exciting. But wouldn’t it be dangerous to do it on the Mexican side of the border?

I’d be more worried about doing it on the American side – encountering the Border Patrol or a Minuteman and being mistaken for an illegal.

That thread is in the Spanish subcategory. I think it’s fine to have two seaparate ones for now.

Folks, while the topic is inherently political, please stick to the biodiversity/collaboration aspect of it rather than throw out takes on which side is more dangerous. The point is that there’s a collaboration going on to explore and record biodiversity in this area.
