Caring for a African Black Beetle

Hi

I found a African black beetle larvae (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/223497909) in a friend’s garden and brought it home. Any tips of how I can look after it?

Sorry, I was thinking about something else when I wrote that. I found it in someone’s garden.

But invasive in Australia?

I should think you can just take some of the substrate that it was in, and put in all in a ~2L container and wait. It may well be eating some of the vegetative material in the substrate. Here is an example of one I reared with some helpful pointer comments, and here is a project for rearing insects from larvae, though not specifically beetles.
