• copy the coordinates in the url. It should look something like this
  nelat=10.10&nelng=10.10&swlat=10.10&swlng=10.10
• go to the identify page
• add the coordinates to the identify page url.

Then I copied the coordinates to identify page.

just to clarify, there is no need to do this. Once you draw the bounding box in Explore, click the Filters box and then click ‘Identify’ at bottom right, and the spatial filter will be carried across
