And 17 on the ‘new’ project. Which is heading for 20K obs. I clear the African ones, since that is what I asked for - but anyone who wants to tackle a location would be very welcome!

Well, I’m probably responsible for most of those. The reason is that an observation of mine, after months of receiving no comments, was suddenly picked up by the “Placeholder backup project.” Having no idea what a placeholder backup is nor why my observation was chosen for inclusion in the project, I read both the project description and the previous thread several times. I found them to be uninformative, and I still have no idea what a placeholder backup is. Here is my offending observation:
