Can anyone recommend a good field guide to ants of the SF Bay Area or to California?
Local book stores have field guides for a lot of things, but don’t seem to have any for ants.
There really is no such guide for California or other states for that matter, antweb or antwiki are your two best bets. Keep in mind though that neither of these are infallible.
