Eudicots doesnt have seperate taxa. how do i add it inaturalist.org wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eudicots
The Linnaean hierarchy iNat uses doesn’t have a rank for eudicots. You can use class Magnoliopsida, which includes all dicots.
Just confirming above, I had the same problem early on, and I think maybe the taxonomy curators added “Dicots” as a descriptor and lookup term for Magnoliopsida.
Dicots is the option to use, and the same as “Eudicots”.
i assumed there will be a seperate taxa for all Groups (APG IV) of clade Angiospermae on inaturalist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flowering_plant
On iNat, flowering plants are designated subphylum Angiospermae (and monocots are class Liliopsida). If you truly want to specify eudicots, there’s no way to separate them from the more basal dicot lineages.
