I’m working with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHMLAC) community science team to teach iNaturalist users how to do basic analysis of iNaturalist data using R programming language. NHMLAC has been running City Nature Challenge (CNC) using iNaturalist for 10 years, so we thought this would be a good opportunity to teach iNaturalist users how to make charts and maps with the CNC data.
Rough draft of the tutorial. https://wykhuh.github.io/cnc-nhmlac-workshop/

Maybe off topic but I use iNat in my course about « médiation culturelle numérique » and in « littératie numérique pour la recherche » (both in Qc, CA) :)
I show my digital humanities students how an API could be use, and it help us get outside our usual littérature/history field (haha) and for y tourism/mediation students it’s a good way to implement an electronic aspect, or to have a new tool to sensibilise the public to the wildlife around them.
