typo, 68 species, thanks for catching that
I am in my late teens, never been to the US and have travelled decent amounts around Europe and some of Africa. So I am not exactly meeting the criteria, but mabye my vertebrate orders may be of interesting contrast.
My main area of interest is vertebrate taxonomy so I just couldnt resist this post.
My orders:
Actinopterygii: 21 orders. 176 species
Petromyzonti: 1 order. 1 species
Amphibia: 2 orders. 10 species
Aves: 19 orders. 137 species
Elasmobranchii: 3 orders. 3 species
Mammalia: 7 orders. 19 species
Reptilia: 3 orders. 25 species
This is only counting inat observations and wild animals ofcourse.
Aves: 19 orders, 792 species (212 from Australia and 149 in the NT)
Actinopterygii: 14 orders, 19 species
Mammalia: 7 orders, 26 species (most from Africa, not Australia)
Reptilia: 3 orders, 20 species
Amphibia: 1 order, 3 species
Elasmobranchii: 1 order, 1 species
So 45 orders with just under half being birds.
