How often do you submit Observations of the (probably) same mushroom?

Hey,
the other day i found another fruiting of a fungi that i observed in spring. Probably it is the same since it is at the same place. It is clearly a new fruiting, so is it recommended to upload it again? I would give a new observation for annual appearing mushrooms but i am not sure about the ones popping up in another season.

I’m curious about how you handle it or if there are any rules about it.

Thanks,
Michael

See Multiple entries of same species.

Really the only guideline is no more than one observation for the same individual per day.

this topic has been previously discussed many times in the forum.

this thread may be useful to read: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/using-the-field-similar-observation-set-for-linking-observations-of-lepidoptera-when-raising-on/1018.

also, look at the list of related threads at the bottom of the first post in that thread. some of those address your exact question. here’s one of them, just for example: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/repeat-observations-same-individual-how-to-submit/4252.
