Hummingbirds in San Francisco in August

Hi all,
I have 2 nights in San Francisco in August in transit to Europe. I have never seen a hummingbird - if I was based in the city where would be a good place to visit in the hopes that I might see a hummingbird? I’ll have 3 young kids and a nature-ambivalent husband with me, so other places to visit will be appreciated! Thank you!

Looks like Golden Gate Park would be a good place to start - and keep your husband busy too :) Try staying until late afternoon when the birds feed more avidly.
