IDing Alberta's chipmunks

I need help identifying Alberta’s three species of Chipmunks. From the images on google they seem like they all vary greatly in coats and I can’t seem to tell them apart. The species in Alberta are Yellow-pine chipmunk, Least chipmunk, and Red-tailed chipmunk. For the most part I’ve just automatically assumed all Chipmunks I see are Least chipmunk. How can I best identify chipmunks in the field besides range?

Here’s some anatomical description, maybe it will be helpful https://animaldiversity.org/accounts/Tamias_amoenus/

Summoning @ccfisher.

EDIT: It seems ccfisher may not be participating in the forum but perhaps you could PM him for some references.

A good printed reference is Lone Pine’s Squirrels of North America by Tamara Eder (ISBN 9789768200457).
