Not specifically a milestone but having all the numbers lineup makes me happy
Currently trying to reach 3000 species by January 1st 2024 but I’ll be content with 2500 with the rate i’m going ( 2341). 3000 should be accomplished and exceeded by Jan 1st 2025 since I have a trip to Romania planned around May-June which should allow me to add some species to my lifelist which I don’t get in the UK ( maybe bears too).
I joined a week ago, and I just hit 100 observations today. A small milestone, but the first of many I hope :)
I wanted to get my observations-to-identifications ratio back to 1.
I started cleaning up Unknowns from the Netherlands that have been uploaded longer than one month ago (October 4th 2023), sorted by oldest. I did that yesterday, and I missed the 1:1 and missed the clean one thousand number, because the identifying flow you get into is just so much fun!
So I aimed for the next nice number and used that as my moment to stop ID’ing (else I just keep going):
Posted that I had 1,800 species on August 10th and I eventually reached 2,000 species – including captive/cultivated – on October 31st:
Finally reached 2,000 ‘wild’ species this morning (November 8th):
I added 114 local species to my life list after my post in August (1,914 total) and am currently at another 87 species from a brief trip to the United States during the summer (2,001 total). Should be able to add a few more species from my remaining photos but I doubt the species total will be that much higher at the end of the year. Wish I’d had more time to spend looking for inverts in Nebraska. 
Finally! +50,000 identifications! I’m very happy.

Update on me I suppose. Recently became the top observer in terms of species for the state of Mississippi. I also passed 12,000 observations and 3000 species this year!
Just passed 4000 observations!

Which doesn’t even put me in the top 500 identifiers.

Last night I completed my challenge of finding 1000 RG-species in this year. Actually not only I, but together with 588 identifiers. A big thank you to all of them!

I recently passed 10,000 identifications without realizing it. I’ve also passed 500 species recently. Thanks to all those who helped identify mine!
Although I think I need a macro lens or a better smartphone camera for IDs, I added these two Nematocera observations that I found while walking up the apartment stairway anyway.

Dutch, English, and – is the third language Malay? Reason that was my guess is because Kucing, the city in Borneo, nicknames itself Cat City.
