I have almost 11.500 observations now and at some point last week I passed 150.000 IDs… But I am actually only here for the nice number of species I have now (and yes, I am guilty of doing a few more annotations specifically for this screenshot as there were only a handful missing to get another nice number )
Love the 4444!
In addition to annotating my own observations, I’ve taken to doing them for others whenever I either ID for them or add them to projects, or even just when following links here in the forum for the color threads, etc., so when I saw Ajott’s beautiful 4444, I decided to check mine…it’s the one place I’m not behind in, in comparison!
I like adding annotations when I can… so much more confidence there than with id, where skills seem to waver
Waiting to see your 5555
I just finished the uploads from a local bioblitz, which was my biggest observation day so far!
I was out for 4 hours and traveled about a mile in that time - bug pace is slow!
#iNatgoals!
Bug pace can be fast when I have a camera in hand, really depends on “bug” !!!
Congratulations, Super day!
I bet you got in quite a bit of photographer’s yoga, too…
Thank you! I sure did get lots of photographer’s yoga - I was feeling it for a couple days afterwards.
Over 350 notifications in a single night. How!!! I never get more than 10 per day! This is a… labor-intensive milestone!
Welcome to the club of those who dedicate way too much of their life to iNaturalist!

Doesn’t appeal to me, but some people use the new (April this year) options.
Miss-counted so 1 more than I meant to do before I grabbed the screen shot.
Amazing, thanks so much for all the IDs!
I passed my one year mark since finding iNat a few days ago!
Dang it I missed seeing the clock turn over for 20K Obs 5K species
Nearly had a sync up with observations, identifications, and annotations! ID’s and annotations were 9 days behind! Well, still an amazing coincidence, and lucky I was there to witness it in time
Congratulations on the IDs. Above and beyond your obs!
