This is not about false identifications, it is about purposely putting higher taxa to prevent RG

But in general, if you can clearly state out the reasonings supporting your ID along with references if possible, then that makes a strong case for you.

I do not have clear references to solve the problem, I just know that they are identifiable based on other observations

If you have specific issues where you feel someone is inappropriately marking your observations with wrong IDs, your best bet is probably emailing help@inaturalist.org . We try to keep specific issues about specific observations and users off of the forum.
