In a 2023-08-14 piece on phys.org, an article titled “Study demonstrates the value of citizen science to monitor natural enemy in fight against invasive Siam weed” credited iNaturalist data for enabling a study on the interaction between an invasive shrub (Chromolaena odorata) and an introduced bio-control moth (Pareuchaetes pseudoinsulata) in South and South-East Asia.
