Great radio piece on the Oregon Roadkills Project.
Got a kick out of @sedgequeen quote “… I did the taxidermy to make them look neatly dead.” (They abbreviated it in the transcript.)
Kudos to @tiwane too!

It’s an important project Thant can save thousands of animal lives. Very nice @sedgequeen!
Love that one:
“I have never seen a bobcat in the wild, except for one that was flat as a pancake in Wasco County.”
Nice to hear your voice, @sedgequeen!
I read the article yesterday, and I didn’t know what Tony was talking about! You heard @sedgequeen’s voice?
When I first read the article, I saw that there was an audio bar, but I didn’t click on it, because you can probably read an article faster than you can listen to it. And do you really want to listen to some bot read a news article?
Because of Tony’s comment above, I went back and clicked on the audio bar, and to my surprise, it is NOT a bot reading the article!
It is actually a supplemental audio piece, narrated by the journalist, and with various audio clips edited into it. This adds value! I have never seen this before.
If you’re like me, and you didn’t click on the audio, check it out! It lets you listen at 2x, so you can save time

Yes - I also totally missed the audio bar! very nice audio piece, and thank you as well for making sure it wasn’t missed!
It aired as radio piece the day before it was posted. We’re lucky to have a thriving local/regional publicly supported media network.
I’m still pretty analog in how I take my media, pretty much just what comes over the airwaves. ;)
Edited my remarks to make it clear it’s an audio piece at the opening of thread.
