I can’t read the article because it’s paywalled. Could you briefly summarize it?

Thanks! Here’s a summary if anyone just wants to know what it’s about: The article reports on the discovery of a new species of parasitic flower in Malaysia. The plant lacks chlorophyll and does not photosynthesize. Instead, it survives by sucking nutrients from fungi in the soil. The discovery was prompted by this iNat observation: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/191655541. Subsequent surveys have only found 20 individuals to date, so it seems to be hella rare.

What a weird and beautiful little flower! And Thismia would be a good name for your Litwick, if you’re a Pokémon player.
