I think this is spot on. Ant behaviors are also commonly attributed to positive values, such as “teamwork”, “great strength”. “perseverance”, etc.
And thankfully not everyone loathes wasps. (Cockroaches are on their own to find a fan club.)
edit to add this intersection of topic: this wasp is one of my favorites because it goes after cockroach eggs, enemy of my enemy style. :)
