I’ve seen similar behavior from Saffron Finches, for the duration of our entire lunch, one day we watched one pound the side mirror of a 4x4 parked nearby.
I use em and they work against any birds that try perching, which the author said they were doing.
Would ultrasonic bird repeller be an option? Not sure how problematic they are for wildlife in general. I know small children can hear them and be bothered by them, but might be the least amount of work.
This is an income property, I don’t think that’s going to “fly” here :]
Maybe even less practical, but if it’s a big problem not just limited to the one house, maybe several owners can get together and hire a solution that might actually fly, something like: falconry for bird control? Sorry, wrong country…
