Is this the observation in quest?

be aware that Cricetus cricetus has the conservation status “VU” on iNat, thus the exact coordinates are hidden by default.

  • Taxon is threatened, coordinates obscured by default: One of the taxa suggested in the identifications, or one of the taxa that contain any of these taxa, is known to be rare and/or threatened, so the location of this observation has been obscured.

I guess when you look at an observation that is your own you are able to see the exact location, but when you explore all the observations of the species, all are shown as obscured, including your own. I suspect this to be the “normal” behavior of the iNat app, but I’m not sure.
