Hi, all, does anyone know where i can find Satyrium pruni in Birmingham, UK? Any specific habitats to look out for? I’ve been trying for a while now and i still haven’t found it yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I don’t think you are very likely to find Black Hairstreak around Birmingham. It has a rather restricted distribution in the UK which does not extend as far west as you.

Thanks for the link. That’s a shame, it seems like pruni and w-album are both uncommon at least. I was hoping that i wouldn’t have to travel to another county haha
