Anyone know what the Map Datum settings should be in the Garmin Etrex Legend HCx ?
Anyone know how to set up the Garmin Etrex Legend HCx to match lat. and long. posted with other’s observations?
Have them set to what is first recommended but unable to determine if that’s what iNat uses.
Thanks, that is how I have it set but I get different lat. and long. than others have for their observations. And for my own double checked with a photo and it’s google maps co-ordinates.
Thanks, I did find this and tried a few settings but still not working to match iNat observations.
Do you have a phone that shows coordinates (perhaps using a GPS app) that you can look at while looking at coordinates displayed by the Garmin?
