I don’t know if this is just an extension of https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/nature-inspired-comics/815, but does anyone have any nature memes? After all, “The Internet was Built for Memes.” -The Internet

It’s time to learn some facts. Very important facts. A bird (aves) is a species of feathered, winged, bipedal creature descended from the manoraptorian dinosaurs. A birb (aves, subfamily birbiformes) is a kind of bird that looks silly/cute to such extremes that they instantly melt both hearts and warp the fabric of spacetime. A borb (subcategory of birb) is a birb who has converged into an orb, for ultimate surface area reduction. Most borbs are also floofs . See photos below: [large] A normal bird. [original] A birb birbing. [original] A borb exhibiting a great amount of floof.

For any further questions, check out these links from audbon: https://www.audubon.org/news/whats-difference-between-borb-and-floof https://www.audubon.org/news/when-bird-birb-extremely-important-guide Remember, this is a extremly important topic that any birbwatcher should know. Please do not confuse these terms. *PS should i add this on the birbwatching discussion topic?

[image] jbbohan: A reference to the movie ‘They Live’. Here is the scene from the movie. Nearly 40 years ago! https://youtu.be/JI8AMRbqY6w?si=DeIJkmoopaao861G They Live (1988) stars (deceased) pro wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper (he was 34 years old when this film came out). The film follows a guy who discovers through special sunglasses (shown in the clip above) that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform via subliminal messages in mass media. I think the social commentary in the clip will resonate with a lot of iNatters. Plus, using iNat, and developing ecological literacy, is like putting on these magic sunglasses when you look at nature.

[image] vreinkymov: [image] Y’know, using the American Werewolf (Lycanthropus canadensis) in this one was a stroke of genius. Says the four-year-old me whose older relatives thought that it would be a marvelous idea to take me to the beach with an enormous bag of popcorn.

haha, i was confused too, the context is this meme https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/if-youre-cold-theyre-cold on which this one is going beyond
