Not allowed to search for the right Central Valley

Please allow only one place to denote the Central Valley in California. In this case, putting “colloquial” or “land feature” in parentheses is not enough. There are at least 3 places that share the name. I am trying to search for the Central Valley and the City of Shasta Lake pops up: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?nelat=40.709755&nelng=-122.3369849&place_id=any&swlat=40.650476&swlng=-122.4113281

Has the places page been revamped? Is there a way for me to see who created a place?

this isn’t really a bug in iNaturalist.

the place screen is here:
