The main problem I encounter with observations is that only a single image of the cap is provided. A lot more images and information is often needed to identify fungi.

Yes, another iNat user pointed me in that direction, and they’ve been a great help, especially with all the interesting moths I’m seeing now, and so quick to respond - sometimes within an hour of me posting!!!
