Observations where photos do not all contain the same individual organism: Annotation options?

Contra question. Someone posts OB with photos of different fruitbodies of the same species of fungus on the same trunk of a tree. Reminder: it is impossible to distinguish individuals in fungi. Someone posts several photos of European firebug - they often gather in groups and are indistinguishable, if you try to separate one, it will run away and bye bye your photo. And many many more examples in fungi, insects, macroalgae, etc., etc. How to fit them into a nice scheme of Bob, Alice and Calvin?

Contra question. Someone posts a photo of a firefly. Do I label it as “Flowering, Budding, Fruiting, or No Evidence of Flowering”?

Not ever aspect of a schema can apply to all observations. This is clearly for observations where individually distinguishing features are present and observable. To simply have “No individually distinguishing features present” could be an alternative.

Ah, sorry - are you sure fireflies flower or fruit?
