TBF though, adults also commonly do casual conversation even in more serious interests / hobbies. I know it doesnāt happen on this forum as much but its possible lol

No powers of ten are multiples of seven :), is that just random talk?
Although if itās actually randomness you want to talk about, did you know that when asked to choose a random number between 1 and 100, a disproportionate number of people choose 37. 73 is also popular. Apparently that number just āfeels randomā to us. whereas numbers like 50 do not āfeel randomā. Something to do with our lack of frequent exposure to prime numbers in everyday life, and 37 being a prime number with two prime digits. Maybe.

Speaking of the 37 and 73 thing, that makes a lot of sense to me at least since western cultures use even numbers a lot more than uneven ones. I think its to do with them prioritising perfection and symmetry rather than accepting imperfections and unsymmetrical designs, and that those cultures unfortunately dominate much of the world.
