Study suggests iNat walks are better exercise than normal walks

@caththalictroides That one is easier than looking up for me.

@Thunderhead yes, or if I’m birding with someone else, I will lean against them.

@DianaStuder I get dizzy or lose my balance sometimes when getting up. Usually when I’ve been looking at something on the ground.

It’s a cardio exercise! Get down to photograph something, get back up, see another cool organism and get down, get up, down, up, down, up, etc.

Yes, you can! I apply it to all my movement…the stop and go while cleaning.

I think that it is an anomaly. Same as the water has the biggest density at 4°C instead of 0°C, another density anomaly is when you put water in your backpack.

Then there is the mysterious way that a given volume of water consumed somehow becomes a larger volume of urine excreted.

I switched to water on a cheap plastic bicycle bottle clip modified (with a hot knife blade) to clip onto my belt. Usually around back, out of the way and far less noticeable than being in a knapsack.

But lately, I’ve been contemplating a bike racer’s water-bladder, inspired by my bikeracing fanatic son-in-law. Just a tube to sip – no messing with bottles, etc.
