Unable to change "observed on" day filter under Edit Observations in Chrome after primary selection

Description of problem:

When I am on the Edit Observations tab and trying to search my photos by date, I am unable to change the date after a primary search; once the date is set once it keeps that date and will not change it until the page is closed entirely and reopened.

Step 1: Go to edit observations

Step 2: Select a date from the “observed on” drop-down menus and hit search

Step 3: Go to the filters and repeat the steps, attempting to change the date. The page will reload with the original search date forever until you leave the page entirely and come back.

I can replicate, I’ll make a bug report. But unless you want to batch edit your observations, I’d recommend using the Explore page rather than this ancient page to search your observations. Just click on “Your Observations” in the header.

I’m actually using it to label my photos. It loads better and it is more static for doing so. I like how everything is in a clean, concise list in order of when I took the photo so I can get the right name on the right photo. :)

Thanks for looking into it!

Made an issue here: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/3486

You can choose a list view on the Explore page, eg: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=any&subview=table&user_id=gentoopenguin21&verifiable=any
